It's good to see this shoe back on the market. The adidas Phantom was a top tier offering from adidas using good materials and carrying a look akin to 1984's legendary Fire (minus the inserts). The uniquely detailed midsole was, like APS, a weapon in the fight against overpronation and over supination. The adiflex sole pattern, slanted midsole, extra heel counter, heel stabilizer and pricetag in its heyday were all significant, and with production lasting from the mid 1980s up to the dawn of Torsion circa 1988, this shoe made for "ambitious" runners is a significant one. This retro is one of the best from Originals in a long time and these fit a little snug.
