Badminton kingpin Jack Purcell was good. So good in fact, that onetime tire company B.F. Goodrich gave him a signature shoe back in the mid '30s. His iconic design, with it's forefoot 'smile', transcended Jack's career post-retirement, becoming a performance tennis piece too, and Converse snapped up the rights to make the shoe in the '70s. It's another classic that refuses to age and these Converse Jack Purcell LTT OX editions are made from a distressed cotton. These fit true to size but a little narrow.
