On the homepage, the Editorial box is a slightly smaller width than the CT Store box.
"Through The Wire" picture would look better with a border around it.
Editorial box overlaps the Crooked Tongues logo.
Just a few things I picked up on, otherwise it's looking top notch!

(I'm using IE7 btw)

Only a few things I can see worth mentioning at the moment...

- Signing up for updates on the front page isn't immediately obvious that you should put your e-mail address in. It also doesn't check if it's valid. You can type "hello" in there and it'll say you've been signed up.

- In the bottom right section (Today I'm Wearing etc), some text under the photos can wrap to the next line, going on top of the title graphics. Refresh it a few times to see what I mean.

- In the store, when you click the right arrow to scroll through shoes, if there's only 3 in that section, it will scroll past it into a blank space.

But he said the tab was too long. That's just a cache problem! :)

I've not checked out the RSS feed but I'm sure they're working on that along with the other stuff.

Neil just pointed out a problem he was having and I suggested a way to fix it. What's wrong with that?

Woah, woah Tim dear boy, I wasn't having a go or anything. Nothing of the sort.

I read "...the RSS FEEDS tab been slightly too long is really f*cking me off." as being "it's taking too long to fix" then I pointed out the actual feed was bust too.

Think we're grabbing the wrong end of different sticks here.

“the realness”
Completely off the current topic, just to let everyone know:

Most of you have probably heard or read that we have been experiencing problems with our delivery service.
We have been making many changes and I can now say there has been a vast improvement in the way we operate with current orders.

One major change being, we now only use ROYAL MAIL PARCEL FORCE as our main delivery service for domestic and international deliveries, we have found them to be the most reliable.

If anyone has any problems or queries, please feel free to mail me at:

Not a store problem, but when you look at someone's profile, the links to threads in 'Last 5 Topic Replies' are not updating properly.

The other good thing about this is that if you're not in, they leave the package at your local Post Office.

Which is generally nearer than your local DHL / Fedex / UPS / City Link warehouse, which tend to be located on some god awful industrial park in the middle of nowhere.

“You still fly kites daily.”
^^^ Word.

I currently have a CT package waiting for me at my local PO. So much easier than a saturday morning drive around an industrial estate.

Nice one - had a package turn up today in about half the speed of the old set up.
Cheers!

In the search results for Nike, there is a Wildwood that has a picture of a Windrunner next to it.

There appears to be an erroneous bit of code when you're in the store, so in the top left of the page it has '); //--> -->

re. the rss feed and that mysterious code on the store. both issues are fixed. the rss feed being stale - no idea what caused it but it should be pushing out the latest for the news & forums. that bit of code was some angle tags being turned into entities. thats all gone too :)

thanx for your bug submissions all.

the few times i've ordered from the store i have had to use firefox as when using IE or googlechrome neither would allow me to add items into the basket, think it was on Russel's advice to use firefox.

there shouldnt be a difference with regards checkout for ie/safari compared to firefox. is it storing your cart ok? i.e. if you add stuff to it before you click 'checkout through google' does it have it listed when you click view cart?

you need cookies/javascript enabled to order. we've been getting orders all week and haven't encountered any issues in-house (we're using a mix of firefox, ie, safari, konqueror, flock , netscape, chrome and gecko :) you can im me if you're still having issues.
