Pretty tempted for £50..

Haven't actually worn mine yet but as eone says pretty well put together. As per previous quotes not worth the RRP by a long shot but worth a punt at the current sale price imo.

Pretty good service from them as well. Ordered after lunch one day and arrived not the next day but the morning of the day after.

“see that you get it done, officer”
that comment about putting jeans in the freezer seems to work. given the current weather i just stuck mine outside for a night and they definitely seem a bit fresher now.

Haha! Regular Alf does seem correct though - http://www.nudiejeans.com/shop/#/jeans/regularalf/938. Strangely the shop labels say Regular Alf whereas the Nudie labels on them say Ralf.

Btw, happy 50th mate!

FYI - "Next season the Regular Ralf will be known as the Regular Alf. This name change is due to a trademark dispute with another company. The style/design will remain the same."

Anybody know any semi-baggy denim like Edwin Nashville?

(No need for unsanfronized denim by the way, I'm gonna break the crotch anyway)

Err... Before every one leaves I wondered if I could have some help.

I have a crotch blow-out on my favourite Edwin Nashvilles. Now the question is whats the best way of having the sorted? The options as I see it are:

1. Patching with an old peice of denim.

2. Having them re-seated.

3. Making localised repair on the hole.

Any guidence is appreciated, I'll turn the lights out...

I'd be tempted to patch them from the inside with some tough cotton/twill. If you just stitch them locally there's a good change it'll just split again pretty quickly.

If you're got a half decent invisible mender nearby to you, pay them a visit and see what they can do.

I wish to purchase a new pair of jeans for under 100 of your british pounds. I do not like a slim fit and since I already own a pair of Edwin, Levis vintage and Lee 101z I would like to try a different brand. I also do not like turn ups so if they are sanforised that is even better for me.

Yours lovingly

Coopy, what about Carhartt Texas Pant, in a nice rigid raw denim. They're not drainpipes and they're not MC Hammer trousers. You'll get them from Aspecto for about 55 quid.
These were my first raw denim. I didn't really know what I was doing and had the leg length hemmed before wearing or washing them. I wore them in for about 8 months before the first wash (29 min, cold wash in my machine, with Woolite dark). Absolutely no shrinkage and some nice looking fades, these truly are a good value denim.

LA1 are absolutely one million per cent legit, mate. I've bought Edwins and Red Wings from there. Nice bunch, too. They're in Camden.

They look good Cuban_Pete.
There's a thread in General, "Pictoral of your favourite denim" which you might want to check. Intending to give my 1996 made in San Fran '1955' LVC 501s their first wash after a year's wear and post pics in there.

My 47's fit a little larger than Levis but not as much as nashvilles etc where you can go a whole size down, size 30 should be fine I would think. There are some pictures on Oi Polloi so you can compare the fits, there is a drop down menu to select slim, regular or loose styles.

I always drop down in size as well, am usually a 32 waist but all my edwins are 30. 47's are probably fine for a regualr fit, have a pair myself although I prefer the nashvilles.

Looking for a new pair of raw denim looking to pay max £150, got my eye on a pair of Garbstore's for 85 and a pair of Nudie's at 125 notes. Anyone seen any cracking deals? Would be a size 30" 30" or 30" 32"

I normally buy Edwin but I am led to believe that Tellason jeans are good, they are on sale at http://www.theoriginalstore.co.uk/290-tellason-john-graham-mellor-denim-jeans.html.
The originals store offered 10% off your first order if you sign up to their newsletter, not sure if they still do or if its valid for sale goods.
