FP died very recently with the news of a certain someone leaving. You get me?
RIP
RIP
QUOTE:Like a lot of others, I tend to buy a majority of my purchases online, but when shopping on the high st. FP was one of a few places I knew I could get quality products and service. Without a constant daily influx of custom, today's independent and small businesses dont stand a chance.
Bond, SK and FP within a Year.
QUOTE:New website .
That is all.
QUOTE:Edgy as in annoying typing sound, crappy small product shots (that always seemed to be out of proportion to me, or at least of tiny shoes) and far too many clicks vs content?
Massive, massive improvement. Easy of use = increased likelihood of purchase.
Nice work to the brains involved.
QUOTE:To all valued customers, suppliers and visitors to Footpatrol,
Footpatrol opened in 2002 in Soho, London stocking select sneakers and footwear. Our mission was to find the best of the best across various footwear brands and to create special projects with our partners.
Our lease at 16A St Anne’s Court has come to an end and we have decided not to renew. We will therefore close the physical store at the end of March 2008.
In the meantime, we will be having a clearance sale at 16A St Anne’s Court.
We are continuing to work with our suppliers on some special projects. These will appear over the summer at our other stores - Stussy on 19 Earlham Street and The Hideout on 7 Upper James Street.
Please check our websites and Crooked Tongues for more information closer to the release time.
Thank you for your support and custom over the past five years.
The Footpatrol Team
QUOTE:Wow, I'm a bit stunned by that...
QUOTE:This sounds awful news for the UK trainer buying public. Looks like hideout will go back to stocking kicks like it used to but won't be the same.
QUOTE:Damn! WTF?
Must be a sudden thing, why revamp the site and then close........gutted.
RIP, shame for everyone who has supported the shop and Wes
