“suede + mesh or nylon”
Needing an ID and was gonna just stick this in another thread instead of creating a new one, but maybe it might be an idea just to keep all ID requests in the one place for the sake of keeping things neat and tidy. Whatever the outcome...

Can someone ID these for me please.

They are made in Slovenia, and have been titled as SL76. I reckon they are Running.
Comfirmation would be good, thanks.

good idea with the thread, but where most requests are made from 1 post cowboys who dont read the rules or search ...

Can someone identify these for me please.

Look like gazelle, but I've never seen a pair of gazelle with suede tongue... puzzled.

Cheers.

I'm sure I had a few suede tongued gazelles back in the 80's.
As to the sole unit, if Karb is right, I don't recall seeing a pair with that sole unit.

Weird... they look more like campus.

Anyway, I reckon those blue gazelle are fake. The seller says they are old deadstock and the hell section with trefoil is cracked on the right shoe. For that to crack I reckon it must be plastic... not a good sign of authenticity, or even a quality shoe if they were legit.

Not sure I agree with you here. I'm not convinced these are fakes.

It would seem that not many people at Adidas have ever seen a shoe made up from a classic material in one single colour.

Which goes someway to explain how Visual Stockhausen's like these get a release...........

Etc............

Yes, they are Country. Made in Japan in 1994. Back then a Japanese company called Descente had rights to manufacture and sell adidas products in Japan and they made several interesting versions of different adidas shoes that were never sold outside Japan. That version of Country was also available in different colorways.

I didn't know he'd died?

Yep.

A "Visual Stockhausen" is something that falls on the eyes similar to how Karl Heinz's music falls on the ears.

Yes, Descente manufactured those (and before anyone asks, yes they made those Japanese Münchens too).
