I got a pair of the green over the holidays. They are incredible but their packaging is BS. Both of my navys and a pair of the greens arrived with the suede rubbed off of the toeboxes due to them sliding against the carboard box in transit. I finally secured a perfect pair but gave up on getting a pair in Navy. The best bet is simply finding these in their stores I guess.

PS they have free shipping pretty frequently. Usually your first order over $100 ships free if you sign up for their email

Mackdre: check again, I just looked and all the sizes and colors are coming for me. They also aren't really limited, they sell out often but J.Crew always has more in stock or will kist an estimated date as to when they are back. I got all jacked when the greens were sold out in December only to see them come back (and sell out) several times since then.

color me jealous, I wanted the navys so bad. I ordered 2 pair in navy and 2 pair of grann, and all but one pair in green came with the suede rubbed off of the toe boxes. It looks like they didn't put the paper in there right and the toes rubbed against the box while in transit, they were awful. I' d love a minty pair but I'msick of buying them and returning them.

Damm that's not good to hear shorty, I'm waiting for mine to arrive and if there is something wrong I couldnt do any return cause I'm from France.. Guess all will be fine.

did you get yours yet? I'm on vacation and a local J. Crew had the grays in stock and were 100% perfect, looked excellent and quality was top notch. Looks like simply their shipping method sucks. Small gripe but I wished the logo was navy instead of a black N. Didn't have my size though :(

yup I get mines bru, check the last buy topic ;)... I think the suede is thicker on the rusted and the grey ones than on the other cws that's why you can have some issues with them..

Any chance of some info on how the j crew 1400s fit relative to nike sizing? What size would you recommend for someone who wears a US12 in Nike? Thanks in advance.

Yeah those military grays are amazing, and I am amazed I dont have every color of these. What a super collabo and they are going to be missed when they are gone. Same with the custom 574s.

just got a new J Crew catalog and they are advertising "Chambray Blue" 1400s. I'm too lazy to snap a picture but I bet they will be on the site soon. They look incredible: nice soft medium blue with silver accents.

was just on the shipping to the uk part of the site and they are now banging on 20 taxes does that mean i won't get stunk by HMC or is that a US federal or state tax?
