QUOTE:Why do adidas not use the pu sole unit anymore? Is it because the material deteriates over time? Can someone educate me?:)
QUOTE:Im looking forward to these. Its the first time ive been a little excited about a release in a while, i have two sizes en route just to make sure they fit right but trying trainers on cant be beaten as we know. As said before on here and by mates that have original W.G ones a P.U sole would have just topped them off nicely but i suppose the 1:1 box and the fact that just 500 pair are to be spread very thinly around the globe make up for that. Ive heard whispers of other classics being made in Germany sometime soon,
BRING IT ON Mr.DASSLER.... We've been waiting.
For those that will moan about them for the next month, be careful what you wish for, theyve been made in their homeland with a nice box and priced higher to cover these things, cant see 498 pair lasting long

QUOTE:Like I said, the shape is exactly like the 60 quid Size? reissues, they don't have a PU sole, so why in god's name would you pay nearly 3.5 times the price?

QUOTE:How comes few members have them and already ordered their pairs but they are not out till tomorrow?
as i'd like to get a pair..no doubt i wont be able to.... whats the secret?
cheer guys..
QUOTE:OK, so I'm not a big fan of the Munchen but have been following this thread......
This release is fine, BUT the price if MENTAL!!! From what I can see your paying all that money for a box, a cardboard box!!!
For me this is like if Puma made a Clyde that said made in Yugoslavia on the insole, with an OG box. If the shoe is made from the current Clyde tooling then it's a TOTAL LOAD OF CRAP!!!
IF.........
Puma went back, completely re-modeled the shoe to the Yugo shape etc then yes, I can understand the pricing because putting that kinda work in costs money!
I really fail to see and understand the £180+ price tag for a box & "Made in Germany" written on them.
FOOLS!!!
