Any advice on sizing for 574 clips? Ones I'm looking at are US10.5 (Thanks to Papitas for the heads up, not same ones, but still...)

I own US11 576s and 991s that are made in US:
- 991s are snug (almost too tight),
- 576s are pretty roomy around toes (could go half size down I reckon).

I have 574s made in Vietnam
- US12s are pretty roomy all over
- US11s are snug.

So, do the US made 574s stretch at all?

Cheers.

Hi all,

I just purchased a pair of M1700 in a size US10 (EU 44). I wear Nike Air Maxes (US10, EU 44), adidas ZX trainers (US10, EU44) and Reebok Classic (US10, EU43). Will the M1700 fit me fine or will they run a tad big?

Thanks in advance,

Thinking of getting a pair of Recent MT580 US made. I was reading thru the thread and I'm still confused on how they fit.
(Some say they fit fine other say they run big.)

I'm a US 10.5 in Air Max 90 & Nike runners. A US 10 in Dunks/Blazers (SB & non-SB) & a 10.5 in all Air Jordans.

What size would you guys recommend I should get? US 10 OR 10.5?

Thanks in advance!

MT 580 are asian made and I would go for a 10.5, because they fit quite snug imo.

Whoops, sorry about that. Let me correct myself. What size would you recomend on RECENT MT580 releases?

Forgot to mention that its the 1st US Made MT580s. Link:

http://burnrubberdetroit.com/nb/

Would you still recommened a US 10.5? (I guesse compared to recent MT580s.)

This doesn't mean they are 'US made' as in produced and manufactured in the US, it just means that it is designed and released in the US first iso being released in Asia first.

At least that's the way I read it.

I agree Barry, MT580's have always been made in Asia. As for these being the first USA MT580 colab, what about the '686' shoes from last year? I'm pretty sure they're an American company?

They auctually ended up running big, since I like a snug but not tight fit, I would've been good w/ a US 10 instead of 10.5 & oh man!
The toe box on them are stupid ROOMY. (Had to sell them but don't really plan on getting another pair, didn't like how they look ON FOOT.)

Huge thanks anyways, you wheren't the only one that told me they fit True-To-Size.

PS. For any one looking to buy a pair of 580...if you don't mind a roomy toe box, your true to size is for you. If you like a snug fit, like me, your better of going down 1/2 a size down.

They must've changed the last on the MT580's as the old ones did run quite small.

^^ Yeah, I wouldn't do that. I wear AM87s in US 10.5 and I like my 1500s in a US 10, but do note that NB uses a different scale for their UK sizes.

I wear a size UK 9 in Nike Air Max, UK 9.5 in adidas runners and UK 9 in reebok.

I have a pair of New Balance M1700 SNS (UK made) in a size UK 9.5. They run slightly big. There's ample room in the toebox area. I reckon I could've gone a .5 size DOWN and they still would've fit nicely (not tight at all).

I also just got a pair of M1500UKG (UK made) in a size UK 9.5. I think they run true to size with the right amount of room in the toebox. I feel I could've gone a .5 size down, BUT I probably would have needed to switch up the insoles to a pair thinner (or not lace up the shoes).

Hope this helps.

Probably a UK9 or possibly a 9.5 if you have a wide foot.

So are UK 576 true to size?

I'm a US size 10.5 & i'm thinking about ordering a couple pairs of UK 576. Should I stay with the size 10.5 or size down to a 10 since a few UK releases are cut big.
I had to do this with a couple UK 1300s I recently purchased from a local spot.

Thanx in advance...

If you read through this thread you'll see that UK made 576's run big. I dont know about the newer 576's but if they're the same as the older shoes you might want to drop a whole size as they stretch a lot with wear.

It's probably best to rely on UK sizing rather than US sizing when it comes to NB's. For reference I usually take a US10 in Nikes and a US9 in 576's.

UK 670's, anyone? big or small?

I generally fit a uk10 (adidas, asics..), can get away with a 9.5 in some nike models like AM1's

any suggestions? first ever pair of NB's so I'm pretty clueless

I've only had 2 pairs. Hanons and Norse Projects. Went for my usual size 9. Hanons were fine Norse were too tight so sold them. I know that probably confuses matters.

I have 1 pair of 670's in size US11 where Im usually a US12/11.5 in Nikes. I wear them without an insole. Half a size down, so 11.5 would have been perfect imo. Sorry for not being able to confirm what L555BAT just said.

this thread has helped me many times already, so i would like to contribute and share my experiences too. i think i have rather normal to narrow feet, but my toes (biggest and smallest) are quite sensible.

574 (UK) - US10 perfect fit
577 (UK) - US10 a bit roomy in the toe box
670 (UK) - US9,5 snug fit
993 (UK) - US10 perfect fit
997 china - US10 perfect fit, bit roomy in the toe, us9,5 may be snug but perfect fit
1300 (UK) - US9,5 perfect fit
1500UKG (UK) - US10 snug fit, but in 10,5 too long
i noticed it depends on the material and model for nb1500s, the newer ones like 1500NGL have a strange hard material in the front of the toe box which hurt my big toe, the UKG dont have that in the front, fit perfect and stretch a bit.

for comparison:
nike am1 - us10,5 perfect fit
nike am90 - us10,5 snug fit, could go to us11
nike 180 - us10,5 perfect fit
adidas zx700 - us10 perfect fit
asics gel lyte 3 - us10,5 perfect fit, maybe could go down to us10 if i like a snug fit, as they are very soft shoes
asics gel saga - us10 perfect fit
reebok gl6000 - us10 perfect fit

regards

Great thread!

I wear a size US10 in 574 (Made in China), and size US10.5 in Air Max 90's.

Which size would you recommend for the 577 (Made in England?)
Thanks

Right I'm bugging out so any help would be appreciated. I have a pair of 1500GBTs in a UK7.5. I am UK8 in everything except Nikes (particularly Air Max 1s, I sold a pair too big to buy these 1500s so I thought I'd try sizing down). They are fitting crazy snug right now, like toes right up against the end. I keep tapping my heels to try slide my foot to the back of the shoe but my toes find their way back to the end.

They're mesh toebox with nubuck mudguard. Am i best to try sell these off while they're fresh or try stretch them out?? Cheers guys!

Could anyone comment on the sizing for the 710 boot? I really like the pics I've seen of the Herschel Supply pack coming soon.

For reference, I am a US9.5 in most NB models, except the 1300 and maybe the 996. I have 9.5s in both of those and they fit big.

Thanks!
