I love them, i have the 20th Solebox pumps & these work just as good...great work again by Hikmet!
In regards to the light....if you dont like it you dont have to switch it on. Simple.

I've been awaiting this drop for ages - I knew s**t would be limited but have been religiously checking the website every couple hours and awaiting the Feb 5th release to jump online from midnight Berlin time and take my chances.
I'm devastated to discover a few pairs are now on eBay for ~$1500. Rumours are circulating about a "secret online" release for 40 pairs - leaving 60 for instore release. I can't find much online about this at the moment... just wondering if any CT heads know if this is standard Solebox procedure??
(Solebox are apparently dismayed at the reseller prices and are promising to make dudes wear future limited drop shoes out of the store... yeah right, this is gonna be an effective disincentive).

They sometimes put some on solemart but as far as I know these were an instore release only and were never destined to reach the net at all. I may be mistaken though.

ben, we released a small amount online. this time we did not announced the release loud to avoid server crashes and to avoid too much resellers. the idea was to serve frequent solebox.com watchers/buyers. but seems except the server crash avoiding, still most of the shoes on ebay : (

I've already thanked Hikmet via email, but I thought I'd give him and Solebox some more public recognition!
I went over to Berlin from Glasgow to try and get the Omni's and from the moment I walked in to introduce myself on the Wednesday, till launch day on the Saturday, Hikmet and the rest of the Solebox crew couldn't have been more helpful. It was a great launch and if you've not been to Solebox yet, just go.
Bloody awesome!
The little incident at the airport with the x-ray machine/confused security men/explosives scanner and the light up Pumps capped off a memorable five days. ;)

You know what, i tried and tried but couldn't get a pair! And i see all these pairs on eBay on the day of release for crazy money! God dammit i hate that bullshit, i would have kept, loved and worn my pair if i was lucky enough to get them. Not sell them on eBay the day i picked them up. People who do this annoy the s**t out of me! i refuse to give these a******s my cash.

@Breakunit i feel your pain, i made to trip to Berlin to pick up a pair in person, i probably could have saved money by buying them on ebay, but felt handing my money over to the guys at Solebox would be a better way benefit the cause, with the added bonus of weekend in a very nice city.
The release was handled with great respect & proffessionalism, met some great people too.
Big thanks to the Solebox team...Keep up the good work!
