I heard that too! Not advanced enough in the QC dept as they would have liked.
Apparently, they couldn't get the paint to crack as you took them out of the box.
Only after the first wear. Tsk!!!

^^^^That's funny!!! I honestly feel that NIKE is d!cking us all by putting out these wack re-releases. Come with the OG colorways already and redeem yourself from SIN!!! I must say, they did up the ante on the retro from last year......they are 10 times more comfortable then the OG from 97. BTW, what's up with the

I don't understand... Often people will complain for Nike's lack of original ideas, and their excessive retro-ing of any model. But when they try to do something different, you just shoot down the idea. I'd seriously give this a chance.

Pre-existing model, that's had some bollox squiggles & colours thrown at it. Must've been done on one of the 'design' team's fag breaks.
They're being shot down mate, cos they're gash.

Im a huge Talaria fan and I like this version. Even if its not exactly right, ill get them just becuase its better than nothing.. none the less, i do like them

personally I think these stand up on their own merit, great materials, they look real nice on. there's been a fair few shoes of late that, although bastardizations of other models have proven popular, the Morie is one the Trainer Dunk Low is another, this isn't a new thing either, Nike have always swapped up components to create something new. we will have them up on the news in the week with a bit more info about Tinker's involvement...
Every time someone posts something positive about these shoes, I go back and have another look to see what it is they could possibly like about them.
I have to say.....I still don't like them and the reason for this I've decided is the lasered panel and lack of balance (on the first shoe). I'm not a fan of lasering at all, but I think they'd look a hell of a lot better if that lasered panel wasn't so big - even broken up by layering different leather panels on top of each other but as it's one huge piece - I honestly don't think it works.
Something as subtle as neon stitching (Talaria) on the heel would also give it a bit of balance too.
The second shoe is more consistent - mainly because it's made up of similar tones and to be fair the materials do look nice.
Basically, I can see what they're trying to do with this shoe - I just don't think they've done a very good job.
