Until the search function is applied so we can find the original thread, I reckon we could talk world cup in here before the lead up to the new season.

Let the debate/banter/arguements/whining roll.

Just so happens I have been doing some research and i have an Algerian cousin, a slovenian aunt and I once ate at McDonalds which makes me feel American so I shall also be supporting these teams which, by some coincedence, is also the teams our english chums have in the world cup group stages. I am sure I will find other interesting relativesas the world cup progresses until the inevitable english quarter/semi defeat on pens. Oh and yes I am slightly jealous.

Miserable jock bellends. Go toss the caber or whatever bent sport you're all good at and always win because nobody else in the world gives a s**t about.

Ooh, look at me! I'm really good at throwing because the years of inbreeding have made me really strong!

Irn-Bru-slurping, haggis-eating, skirt-wearing, heroin-shooting, Gazza-lobbing-Colin-Hendry-then-firing-the-ball-past-the-keeper bunch of nancies!!!!

is Grant considered to be a good manager then? I dont see it personally although i can see why the alternatives werent exactley suitable

Beckford off to Everton and Billy Paynter in today on a free - which is ace news - as many goals with a much better outlook on playing - less strop and also hammerred us when we played Swindon

closed the other thread - sorry was a total random first one that came up - so in short to continue the last thread

Which side would you support if your club was wound up

For me it would be QPR - no reason i have just always had a very soft spot for QPR - i think its the hoops

although uin reality it qwould be Histon FC as they are my local club

I’m absolutely gutted about Rafa going. I know we didn’t have the best season, but he fought for the team and the fans to the end and was really up against it with the owners.

Think this could be the beginning of the end, we are well and truly in the s**t. Who the hell will want to come when they’re up for sale and have a £5mil transfer budget?

Kenny might take over but only short term as his wife is his number one priority with her suffering illnesses recently.

ex Hibs player Steven Fletcher being lined up for a big money move to Wolves, reckon Hibs could get about 1 million outta this with a sell on clause :brassknocks:

Specifically your first sentence. I just don't understand the logic behind thinking the club would benefit from him staying, the fact i don't rate him as a world class manager and the supporters blindness shown to the situation with the constant 'board/lack of money' chat that gets rolled out rather than looking at his failings.

With Gerard leaving the club, who was more than likely on his bike anyway (Real bound imo), i'm anticipating Benitez's 'spin' on things.

That’s fair enough, but I can’t see where the club will go now. In my opinion he is a top class manager and can’t see any other top class managers wanting to come with the situation we’re in.

I know he could talk s**t at times, but he handled himself well against the club owners and that will mean he is always held in high regard with the supporters.

Plus I could see Torres giving us one more season if Rafa was still there, but can’t see him staying now unless someone like Hiddink comes in.

Jimmy Bullard has signed for Celtic on a 12 month loan deal. Will be a great signing for them if he can stay fit.

Oh Hawksmoor. I like charlton. Purely because they have banned their youths from wearing multi coloured boots.

I like that they've done that too, to stop young uns giving it the big one. But here's another idea - bring back apprenticeships and make them scrub the pro's boots and clean up after themsleves etc, make them f*****g appreciate it when they make it.
