other one was getting a bit overcrowded and taking too long to load!

heres a few experiments ive been doing. I wanted to draw characters representing my favorite british 'movements'. Ive only done 'the casual' and the 'skin' so far. Theres only one catch though.........................................................i did them with my eyes closed!

<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v72/vordal/casual.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting"></a>

i coloured them with eyes open of course.

i like the effect, what do you lot think?

“Soul sold.”
Very nice OTS, quite a departure from the portraits of your family members that you posted recently. I really like the backwards print on the last one, "Ganster Trippin". Are they the lyrics to something?

it maybe longer to post but not for a while. gangster trippin' is a song by fatboy slim if i remember rightly?

yeh its quite a departure lol, i did do them with a beanie over my eyes though, i think if you do that then theres absoloutly no influences other than your own mind. and to make it better theres no sense of area or proportion, once you take the pen of the paper theres no way you can go back to where you thought you left of unless the hats see through!

Do you want to see a picture of the 'movement' i nearly had whilst laughing at the sheer futility of what you've posted?

The picture would also cover my thoughts on the effect too.

If that was an experiment, as a scientist i reckon you'd make a good bus driver.

Which is exactly how i felt before nearly producing the 'movement'! [bunny face]

As you may feel my post was extracting the urine in some way, i too experimented with blind drawing and also discarded the use of my limbs and held the charcoal between my teeth. And so to enable us to compare and contrast, here is my attempt:-

I've not put any work up in ages so here's a little bit of what I've been doing recently. Both bits for Penguin. The adidas book's just a rough idea as I'm pitching (no pun intended) for it, don't think I'll get the project but we'll see what happens...

And so in the cold light of day, i was correct in my intial statement. Doing a GCSE between 3 people is indeed 'extracting the urine' in my book.

When i was a lad, when you did an exam you weren't allowed to take other people into the exam room with you to help??? Its sounds like that millionaire quiz show programme. Sitting an exam and you can phone a friend or ask the rest of the people sitting it what they think the answer is!

It's not that the questions are easy, it's that they keep lowering the percentage needed to get each grade!

“pfffff”
I did GCSE's in 199x and they were a piece of piss then.

Anyway, is this thread limited to creative types or can I post up a series of process flow diagrams I've been working on? They've very important, they rationalise all the customer service procedures across the whole organisation and provide the building blocks of the design blueprint for a very large and important SAP CRM implementations...............

No takers?
