Yo.
I couldn't find a thread like this for Reebok, apologies if there is already one somewhere.
This could well be the slowest moving thread on the board and/or it could prove handy to some people.

Sir Jams are down to £25 in the Schuh sale. Got mine.

Just been to Reebok outlet in Bicester (I am assuming this will also apply for the other outlets) and they had a f*****g shitload of stock from the last year or so. A huge array of CVs, Omnis, Dual Runners, CV Low Side Pumps, AXT Side Pumps, Vents and all the ERS runners. They were running a deal where if you buy 2 items you get the cheapest item for a quid, so theres definately some bargains to be had.

EDIT: Forgot to mention they were also selling the matching Chang apparel for the CV2s.

If you sell the second pair for 2 quid that's 100% profit. Suck on that , credit crunch!

Now at £17, and should continue to drop further. Few other things in the Reaction, but nothing of any interest imo.

Also as a heads up, the latest issue of Sneaker Freaker has a huge Reebok feature in it, should definately be worth a read.

In pictures and from a distance they look as good as the vintage 576's, but up close they look more like Hi-tec silver shadows. The suede is nice, but the parts that look like leather are actually made of that reflective shiny plastic. Also the mesh on the toebox is from very low quality. Such a shame really the shape of this shoe is such a winner and then they are trying to save some pennies over quality. If they used leather and 3M I would defenitely bag some more colours. The fit is very good especially for broad feet, they fit a bit bigger than nike and NB runners, I went half a size down (UK 9 iso 9.5) and they fit perfect.

Nah the Phase II reissues at £35 are well worth it - c'mon how many kicks do you see at that price? And remember that Phase II's are part of the very early range of Reeboks (what, circa 1987? BBOY86 help me out!)

I got mine only last week, sure they are fully retro but well worth it I promise.

Quality-wise they are about 8 out of 10, not premium quality but a darn sight better than some of the re-issues Reebok have done. Almost make the forthcoming GL6000 reissues missable... (but I'll get those too no doubt)

I've been wearing them for the last 3 days and I do agree. It's a comfy shoe and they fit (me) like a glove. I would love to see a pair of OG's to compare, the simplicity of the runners in that era has always appealed to me. And yeah it is a very decent price, it's probably because here in the UK we are quite spoiled when it comes to (low-priced) runners therefore they don't shift that well. Maybe they are also aiming at the wrong targetgroup by selling them at JD?

“Crooked Tongues - Online Resource”
hey guys, spotted these in an op shop yesterday, and thought somebody on here might be interested.

the tongues pretty crackled up, but apart from that they looked to me to be in decent nick! they're a US 12. if anybody is interested let me know! not really fussed either way, just thought somebody might be interested lol.

i am, however, interested in knowing what model they are! i must confess to being completely useless when it comes to reebok, so if anyone could clear that up for me, that would be great too :P.

^ I wish I could tell you, but I couldn't. Looks to be a womens cw but the size suggests otherwise.

The height would say they were a basketball shoe, but could quite easily be a cross training or tennis shoe.

Well, the only other Reebok shoe I have seen with plastic Hexalite patterned straps are Vertical Jams. So my guess is they are from the Jam range (although they usually have Jam on the tongue), but definitely a basketball shoe in my opinion.
