QUOTE:Are you taking the piss? If so don't. Gofls are f*****g great, the best hot hatch ever made & held in really high regard by car enthusiasts. I'm no joy boy t******g around in a crappy car, I've got a great car & know how to drive it. It's a real driving car & I learnt to drive in the lake district which has some of the most dangerous & challenging roads in the UK. It's my 3rd GTI, had everything from a very early 1985 8v mkII (which was brilliant until the cam belt went & took the whole block with it), a 1990 big bumper 8v (which I still have) & now the G60. Multiboy, I'd love a mkI but I'd never be able to look after it in the way I'd want & also it's not just the cars themselves that are getting hard to find, it's almost impossible to get parts. That's why I'm going with the MKII, the rest IMO are shite, the MK5's pretty quick but on a twisty road mine would kill it. Anyone noticed that I could talk about cars all day??yeah i think im gonna do that with my escort thats gonna be a classic for the future too, did i mention its got a spoiler

QUOTE:Ok Scooters arn't evil [tongue]Wasp, nice one on the Lammy and Vespa mate. I'm after a T5 when I get somewhere to garage it.
QUOTE:used to keep the T5 in the dining room, then i met the wife and it got banished to the garage.. !!!Wasp, nice one on the Lammy & Vespa mate. I'm after a T5 when I get somewhere to garage it.
QUOTE:er... my T5's a scooter mate.....My Parents have a T-5, they're brilliant cars. It's the non-rear spoiler one, just looks like any other Volvo, got a dog gaurd in the back too, goes like a bloddy rocket! You can really throw it about too, great suspension on them, not too hard but very sure footed, the engines good & the turbo's amazing, from driving a car with a supercharger I'd say that there's a bit of lag but not too much, very rapid anyway. Air con, leather (we've got the half leather version) every comfort you'd want, loads of room for your mates/luggage & capable of 155mph, perfect! But it's not a golf so it's not that good...

QUOTE:It's a 600 man, which is all I need at the moment, currently sitting with 6 points on my liscence which I got back last October after a little 3 month ban for speeding. It's superb fun but as my mates are kicking around on R1s & Hayabusas it makes going ride outs hard work as they just have far more power, but I make up for it in the corners.Don't know much about bikes (or scooters but I think we've worked that one out) but tis rather nice! What cc is it? My mates got a Suzuki SV650 which is amazing, bikes are scary fast though, if I had one I know I'd kill myself on it.
