Ordering sneakers from Crooked Tongues is easy! Simply browse through the shop section of the website, placing any desired shoes into your shopping basket. Once you have completed all your purchases, proceed to the checkout whereby you will be asked to complete the necessary information required to confirm the sale.

Please note that the shopping basket system requires that cookies and JavaScript be activated on your browser.

If you: are experiencing difficulties ordering online; feel uncomfortable using the online system or simply want to interact with us more personally, then feel free to phone us: +44 (0) 207 7494 4401 or fax: +44 (0) 207 7494 4402. In employing these methods, please ensure that the following information is communicated:

  • Your name and full postal address
  • Contact phone number and email
  • Shipping and payment information
  • Stock code and size of the shoe desired.

    Payment is accepted via all major credit and debit cards and your card will be charged with the relevant payment once your sneakers have been despatched.


    Your security and peace of mind is very important to us and thus to address this, all order information, from submission stage, is encrypted using 128 bit SSL technology. Furthermore, our server encrypts the order with a military grade PGP key with no record of this information remaining on the server when we retrieve your order. Don’t worry; no unauthorised persons will be able to see your information.


    Given that the majority of our sneakers are rarities and samples, we have limited quantities and sizes of each shoe. All attempts are therefore made to ensure that the stock levels reflected in the site are accurate at all times.

    On those occasions where we receive multiple orders for the same pair of sneakers, orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. Again, we will contact you immediately if there is an issue with your order and furthermore we will ensure that you are first in line when new pairs arrive!


    We appreciate that once you have placed an order, the last thing you want is to be waiting forever for your sneakers to arrive! Due to this, we aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day of receipt. We’ll also send you an email to confirm that they have been despatched. In the unlikely event of any problems/delays we will also contact you immediately.

    In terms of actual shipping, two modes are available: Standard and Express. Standard delivery takes between 2-10 working days depending on your geographical location, while express delivery will ensure goods are delivered within 1-2 working days of despatch. The following matrix outlines the various options and respective costs:

    The prices above are inclusive of VAT, but do not incorporate any country specific taxes or tariffs that you may be liable for. All despatch methods also require a signature upon delivery thus we cannot ship to PO Box addresses. If this proves to be a problem then please contact us.

    Finally, if you are in or passing through London, you can come and collect your sneakers personally! Email or phone us to arrange a mutually convenient time.


    If you wish, for any reason, to return the items received then you must email us within 24 hours of signing for the goods, outlining the reason for return.
    Upon receipt of that email, we will send an acceptance email. Refunds will then be made in full provided both the following conditions are satisfied:

    1. The goods are returned in the same condition as they were sold.
    2. The goods are received within the following time period of our acceptance email - UK: 2 working days. International: 10 working days.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the cost incurred by you in sending the goods back.
