If you're buying shoes for yourself or ungrateful/taste-free friends or family members and they want to return them for some reason, you can return shoes from now until the 31st of January for a refund, rather than our usual 28 day policy for a little more peace of mind when you make a purchase. SENDING BACK SHOES
We know that sometimes a shoe doesn’t fit or feel right on your feet. Occasionally there are issues with quality too. We want to make the process of buying shoes online as stress-free as possible.
UK customers can now return shoes free via Royal Mail or MyHermes. Apologies to our international customers who remain responsible for the returns postage until we find a suitable free returns provider.
If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition* within 28 days of receipt. All goods will be inspected on return. We'll issue a refund on receipt, or exchange the item for a different size/colour if preferred. However delivery charges are only refundable if you have cancelled your entire order within the 7 day Cooling-Off Period and the order has not been sent out, or where the goods are faulty and a refund is made.
FREE RETURNS FOR UK CUSTOMERS
If you're a UK customer you can now return your shoes for FREE. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply complete our UK free returns form, and return the item(s) to us in their original condition within 28 days of receipt.

All goods will be inspected upon return. We'll issue a refund on receipt, or exchange the item for a different size if preferred. Please ensure your returns form is filled out fully and placed in the box.
It can usually take up to 10 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) for your return to be delivered back to our warehouse, depending on which postal service you use.
We'll send you an email as soon as we’ve received and processed your returned item(s). We'll ship your replacements or process your refund as requested on your returns form. This is normally done within 1 working day.
Any refund will automatically be issued to the card (or PayPal account) you used to place the original order. This typically takes 5 working days in the UK, depending on your bank/card issuer.

FREE UK RETURNS — ROYAL MAIL
Simply complete and enclose your returns form, re-seal the box and use the Royal Mail pre-paid label. You will receive a confirmation slip from the post office you should keep this as proof of postage, and you can also track your parcel using www.royalmail.com.
FREE UK RETURNS — MYHERMES
To use the MyHermes free return service sign up and log onto your MyHermes Crooked Tongues account and follow the instructions — please note will need access to a printer to print off your returns label and to use this service.Please ensure you complete your UK returns form and enclose it inside the box.
Get MyHermes to come and collect your return from your home or work address or print off your returns address label from your MyHermes Crooked Tongues account and drop your box into your nearest MyHermes parcel drop shop.

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.
The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

If the item you received is faulty, please contact Crooked Tongues Support quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the defect in question, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted to allow for the revised order value and appropriate discount level.This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note: When trying on items, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume/aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. We'll be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed. The item must be returned in its original packaging with any enclosed documentation.
