While the first 'Shanghai' Dunk SB mirrored the regal opulence of China's rich history, this second outing is a somewhat more down-to-earth concept.Taking its styling cues from a traditional Xiao long steamer - a bamboo vessel used for the cooking a type of dim sum - the shoe mirrors the steamers construction and usage throughout. The 'woven' leather represents the woven bamboo through which steam passes atop of the device whilst its somewhat anemic pale yellow colour is taken from ...

Here's a couple of new Jabbars that should hopefully be dropping soon. People seemed to really like the first round of reissues released earlier this year, the 'Vintage' model being especially popular. From initial reactions the premium brown leather version looks set to be similarly well received.

Everyone loves a bit of Perry, gotta be the top boy in the polo shirt arena. What we have, and what we like here, is that the guys have taken inspiration from the shirt and added it to the tipped cuff on the shoe. The rest is pretty clean, classic and simple really, so if you fancy a little something different, Fred's got the gear for ya. Limited to 144 pairs in the UK and the release date is ...

The Air Max 90 has suffered from an untold number of bland colourways since its reissue in 2000, however this edition is far from mundane. Taking its cue from an original colour scheme of the late 90s Terra Sertig off-road running shoe, the booming oranges and yellows might just placate those hoping for an imminent 'infrared' re-release. The shoe is part of a similarly coloured pack said to include an Air Trainer III and a Dunk Low. All three should ...

If there is one brand that carries the weight to sustain a good queue of heads waiting to buy their next ish, then it's definitely these fellas. Following up with their recent colabs with L.A.'s finest, the Supreme boys are back, and they're coming out fresh with a brand new batch of Sk8 His, Old Skools and Chukkas. Due to drop at some time soon, the SK8 His and the Old Skools come in 3 colourways ...

Some hunting about for some nice new Vans to rock in the sunshine turned up these lovelies. Although not exactly summer colourways, it was the nice subtle detailing and fabric combinations that caught my eye.First you have the denim and suede combos for the ERA and Old Skool - this works pretty sweet, and I like the contrasting red detail stitching and tumbled leather heel counter lining.Next up is the 'Peace Leaf' printed SK8 Hi and Slip On. These ...

The whole world and his momma are clambering to get into Nike's exquisite and ultra-exclusive new ID studio. Well at least they would be if they knew where this tasteful-yet-discreet venue was located.Following on from the already legendary 255 New York space, and similar spaces in both Paris and Berlin, London's take on the ID studio oozes even more class and sophistication, mirroring the city's legacy of tailoring, shoe making, and true Savile Row style. You ...

The Oki-Ni and adidas collaboration has produced some pretty 'interesting' colourways over the last few years. Some of them have gone on to become instant classics such as their makeover of the Boston Super, others have perhaps had a slightly more select audience.Possibly one the best adidas reissues of recent years was the APS, and like many others we hoped that the three colourways that signalled its re-launch wouldn't be the last we saw of this classic 80s ...

Yanks love a bit of comfort. That's why the Stan Smith became the Stan Smith II: "That thin tongue is, like, sooooo uncomfortable." Well, for a lot of people that unnecessary padded tongue spoilt an elegant and much loved shoe. Oki-Ni has revamped the Stan Smith II whilst remaining true to the classic design of this model with three unique colourways set for release in October. These SSIIs put a twist on original tennis colours; an embossed trefoil and ...

Here's a little something interesting that's made a comeback from the Schienfeld archive shelves. The Trainer PT. The upper is lightweight nylon with suede overlays as well as that EVA midsole and rubber outsole that are protected by a rubber wrap. I'm well into the midsole on this shoe, liking the bright details/holes which are believed to have been originally designed to provide additional comfort.

Not much gets past the numerous mags, websites, blogs and eagle eyed individuals in this game. Images of new kicks are routinely posted on blogs several seasons in advance of their eventual release dates. The latest colabs, colourways and reissues are discussed ad nauseam on forums. Essentially keeping something on the down low has never been harder, so when we were cordially invited to experience the Nike ID boutique last night in our own city of London it came as ...

Billed as this year's most hyped and awaited Nike release, the Diamond Dunk SB is part of the Team Manager series, and was designed by Nick at Diamond Supply Co. The colourway was inspired by the Tiffany & Co store bags, and the silver swoosh represents platinum, which is widely used in the Tiffany line of jewellery. This has lead to the 'Tiffany' or 'Tiff' moniker widely used by sneaker heads ...
