The Everybody is the everyman of the Alife footwear line. A polar opposite to the out-and-out weirdness of the Ritefoot line and twitching with legendary Nike DNA like the debut Jordan lows and Dunks at ground level, it's been the one that lends itself to all manner of makeovers. Low, mid or high it's become a range staple. Remember the Patta collaboration that cranked up any semblance of Vandal in the mix? This model's simple enough to be on some wacked-out styles, or to be totally tonal. Nylon, canvas and leather look good on this shoe...actually, to reinforce that point, leather looks excellent on the Everybody, and in line with the luxury feel of this season's models there's some premium versions on the horizon. These however, are a simpler proposition.
Maroon or easily wrecked white in heavy canvas is a good look, and there's supreme comfort with the soft lining too. Alife have got the loud New Yorker thing down to a tee (pun intended), but they can do the classy stuff better than Freddy Blassie. That's the key to their success. That, plus the fact they were onto this type of shit early. These drop soon, and we should be getting them instore.
