The Uno is still a trademark shoe for the Gourmet brand. Some designs have been and gone in the range, and the fabrics have travelled the material spectrum from premium leather to canvas, but this is still our pick for wear with shorts. Quattros are cool, but this is the best distillation of Jordan design language. Like the 'KO' of Jordan VIIs, the whole Gourmet squad's love of the source material shines through and they're insanely comfortable too. For an indie to end up on the feet of the duo who've currently got the Twitterverse going ham, Eminem and Drake is quite some achievement, but seeing as the brand was flossy from its debut drops, they don't seem to have let the endorsements go to their heads and the focus remains.
White canvas is good, but you need to tread carefully in these dirt magnets—All Stars look good beat. These don't. The premium leather in olive drab is another contender too, but seeing as most things have a habit of looking better when they're in a Timb-alike makeup, that to quote Tip, is a, "
humdinger coming hook line and sinker." Wheat nubuck, gum sole—we're sold on them. All 3 are available now in the
Crooked Tongues store, alongside a new duo of Cinques...
