We've taken so many looks at PUMA Suedes these last few months that we're running out of words...we would copy/paste existing press copy about them, but we can't bring ourselves to do it. So what do we pad this paragraph out with? Talk of the impending new and improved Crooked site that we're currently working on, to replace our current sturdy but increasingly creaky electronic presence? Trying to explain just how funny it is watching other retailers inexplicably make dicks of themselves on our forum? Apologies for the recent lack of News updates? Continual promises that we're gonna up our photographic standards shortly? Fuck it, that'll do. That's a paragraph filled anyway.

Back to this duo of Suedes - we've been very impressed with the drip-feed drops of this slightly restored model (well, compared with the madcap versions that used to clog TK Maxx shelves it's a masterpiece in the silhouette stakes), but these two are superb. A Lakers colourway and that bright orange? Stunning. For some reason, even for the most Technicolor reticent, suede will always offer a matt buffer zone for feet that minimises the clown factor of the same shade in a glossier material. This whole reissue project has been an abject lesson in giving folks what they want and not charging the world for it either. Very, very nice.
