]Uh-oh. More Nike Air Max 1s in time for summer. We understand if you lost interest (bar Patta's efforts - you've got wooden eyes if you couldn't appreciate the simplicity of the greens and purples) in the '87 Air Max a while back because of the sheer onslaught of colours. We guess-timate that at one point there were 3 variations for every man, woman, child and animal on earth. It felt like that anyway. Lately, at trend level we've seen a few beauties on the colourway front for the shoe, and some also-rans too. These are just ill though - especially the ones using that blast of total orange, with a use of the colour not dissimilar to the one employed on the classic Nike Air Trainer SC in its finest form. Even the use of materials is on-point. They're already one of the best new makeups we've seen of the shoe after a slew of mediocre versions - going on the excitement for the impending Air Max 90s, Lunar and Free might have superceded visible air, but kids still love that once-revolutionary cutaway. These are in the Crooked store right now and come highly recommended. Extra points to Nike for resisting the urge to put a contradictory colour on the top eyelet too...
