![]() We've officially written Summer off. As the samples fly back to their Canadian home, we're already prepping ourselves to stock up on some big-ass boots this Winter. So we thought we'd share the pics of the Summit we used in our shoot for the recent Ransom editorial (and while you're at it, check the Gourmet one too) - the impending attempt to bring the mighty wheat Timbo back from the Essexed-out limbo it's fallen into after years as a vital hip-hop accessory. We thought it might be therapy for anyone disturbed by today's Y-3 entry too - instead you can focus your anger on furiously debating as to whether this could even be classed a sneaker. But hey, we'd include the Lehar in a second...and on the Timbo theme, a pair of Field Boots...even their mighty Iditarod Super Boot, so we won't lose any sleep over the Summit's place on this page. ![]() Great materials and a genuinely premium feel, plus a well-selected choice of colours proves adi and Ransom are taking this double-act extremely seriously, and even if that back-to-basics workwear look fizzles out in an implosion of brand-basics fetishism and brown duck fabric, these will still maintain a certain timeless appeal. In fact, forget this vintage Americana hype - we want to rock 'em with swathes of light blue denim and brown Champion hoodies on some Das EFX isht. We'll unleash more info later in the year on these and other Ransom by adidas releases. Good stuff... ![]() |
