adidas - NET 80
adidas were killing it around 1980. So much so, that even a table tennis shoe was a thing of low-profile beauty. Once intended solely for lightweight ping-pong performance, now the taste for slimline silhouettes doesn't seem to be diminishing, we're glad to see this model, retroed a few years back, on the comeback trail in an assortment of authentic colours. The sole unit and overall shape is stealthy, and the suede and mesh mix will always stay relevant - we wish today's niche performance pieces would still hold up like this thirty years down the line.
