adidas - STRIDER PRE BUY
Some 1984 styling from adidas, reintroduced in 2007 alongside the more accurate Decade remake, the Strider is far more than mere mid-cut, with a more versatile look and feel that's steeped in basketball heritage. Once a premium status symbol of a shoe that didn't come cheap, now as part of the Originals artillery of unsurpassed silhouettes, it's been opened up to some fantastic colourways beyond the original palette. This makeup gives this hardcourt legend a spot of clay/grass court cool, with those colours and the canvas and nubuck additions, with some reptile effects in the mix for variety. Excellent. We'd like to see this aesthetic placed on more unlikely contenders in the imminent future...
