After the huge success and status of the Neighborhood Superstar, it seemed inevitable that the Japanese black-obsessives and adidas would meet again. Using the legendary Gazelle silhouette, this very limited (to 300 pairs) disappeared as quickly as it dropped, tying in with The 2006 World Cup. The deceptively simple crisp, white look, belies a serious amount of detail on the inner-lining and midsole - just check out that lightening strike. If the white throws you off-guard as to whether its a Neighborhood product, the skull and cutlasses on the toebox should provide reassurance. The vintage off-white sole, stripes and heel detail make this a very special edition of a wardrobe staple.
