DVS - DVS Huf 4 Runner
In theory, the final product should look a mess: a hybrid skate shoe/runner covered in yellow, salmon pink, black and white? But, due to the skills of DVS and the ideas from In4mation, this shoe has to be one of the hottest things we saw this year. A bold statement perhaps, but we'll stand by it. The classic Huf DVS model has been a staple model in their arsenal: a clean shoe with some nice design features. The addition of this runner to the range shows real initiative and it's clear to see where Keith's input is. Slip the shoe on and you're gonna find a good example of that luxury DVS comfort that we've grown to love. You can wear the laces really wide and the shoe still won't flip off your foot. While not as thick as some tongues, the padding is more than adequate on top, and the three-layer toe area looks hot (and works if you're skating in them). The use of materials here has been well thought-out. You've got some beautiful white 3M side panels, under which lies lovely perforated yellow leather. Check out the unique cross-style perforations... Really nice. All in all, it's one of most interesting shoes we've seen of late...
