Nike - Air Pegasus '89

Part of the series that started in '82, the Pegasus was a flagship runner in its many forms over the '80s and early '90s. By the mid '90s the Pegasus lost its youthful looks, prior to the late '00s redux. This retro captures the shoe in all its '89 splendour - much lusted over prior to retro, the synthetic suede and mesh is evocative of an era, and the shape is almost there (we still can't fathom those curvacious soles though) and it's a great chapter of Nike's running story and one that had some serious street level credibility - particularly on UK shores. We're glad this shoe is back. Why can't contemporary running shoes look this good?
