How do you prefer your Dunk? Hi or low? It's open to argument. Some prefer the hi-topped, more iconic look, while some deem a low cut more accessible and certainly open to a commercial audience. Either way they're ridiculously collectible and no matter how many times you vow not to cop 'em anymore 'cos they're "played-out" (copyright – new jack messageboard posts worldwide) the sheer volume of colourways available and pending, means there's something for everyone, whether you're collecting colours or looking for supreme comfort and a look that threatens to, but never seems to play-out. DJ AM (RIP) knew what makes for a good sneaker, and he clearly had an ideal of the perfect Dunk - this isn't your average makeup; this feels like something that Adam had defined as a gap in a market saturated with colourways of this shoe, and the results are superb. Sad that we won't see more of AM's vision across-the-board. An Air Macks Air Max would have been classic too, but this is a fitting tribute to a sneaker fanatic whose presence is missed.
