Nike - Air Force 1 Low
By far the most iconic of Nike's prodigious eighties output, 1982's Air Force 1 equalled it's presidential namesake in the Air stakes, bringing the cutting-edge, gas-filled technology to the courts for thefirst time. And the rest, as they say, is history. A key player in theearly days of collectible colourway stakes, high, low or mid, nowadaysit's easy to take the sheer volume of variations on this basketball titan for granted. Rugged construction from a durable upper to the chunky midsole, it's a testament to the comfort and performance of this iconic masterpiece that an NBA player like Pistons power forward Rasheed Wallace still rocks them on court, 24 years after their original release. This is the first HTM (representing Hiroshi, Tinker and Mark) Air Force 1 Low from '02, the black variation in a beautiful leather, limited to 1500 pairs with some nice contrast stitching and a drawer box. An perfect shoe.
