Nike - Air Force 1 Low
By far the most iconic of Nike's prodigious eighties output, 1982's Air Force 1 equalled it's presidential namesake in the Air stakes, bringing the cutting-edge, gas-filled technology to the courts for the first time. And the rest, as they say, is history. A key player in the early days of collectible colourway stakes, high, low or mid, nowadays it's easy to take the sheer volume of variations on this basketball titan for granted. Rugged construction from a durable upper to the chunky midsole, it's a testament to the comfort and performance of this iconic masterpiece that an NBA player like Pistons power forward Rasheed Wallace still rocks them on court, 24 years after their original release. With a stitched logo and tongue and quality leather upper, this was the first West Indies model from ’01.
