adidas's Consortium projects is back again and they're starting from scratch with a well-executed white-out to take them into 2012. The Tabula Rasa pack (Latin for "erased slate") takes five iconic styles and applies some premium suedes, leathers and nubucks to some accurately resurrected silhouettes in very limited numbers. The Tabula Rasa Decade High takes it back to 1984, with this high top classic given an off-white leather reworking from the upper to the shoe's lining. There's plenty of shoes claiming premium status, but these are the real deal, finished with the Consortium collection's new signifier: a tongue tag with a metal eyelet. As with the majority of adidas releases, we recommend going up at least half a size for maximum comfort.
