We like the word Gipfel. We think it means Summit in German or something, but Kazuki's offroad looking basketball creation is ill, looking like a militaristic spin on the mighty Artillery. Ballistic nylon, leather, a nicely contrasting midsolle...leather and nubuck with Torsion—we're sold. Kazuki understands the impact of the hi-top, and as with his 7-Hole design, how to make it work well. Some meetings-of-mind feel gratuitous in this industry, but the ObyO KZK line makes a whole lot of sense, with both partners bringing the ruckus.
