At Crooked, we're a little more dedicated to the earlier Tech Challenge installments, but chapter III ruled the sports shop shelves from 1990-91. The neon colours and patterning represented for the flamboyant Mr. Agassi, and plenty of provincial kids with monied folks rocked the entire outfit, down to the faux stonewash shorts with built-in cycle short lining. The apparel hasn't held up so well. The shoe however, has significantly more longevity. These retro variations dropped in early '07 - legal ramifications meant the familiar Agassi logo got itself replaced, the shape and materials looked a little different, and while purists are bound to disagree, it works well as its own summer-friendly mid-cut silhouette.
