PUMA Cabana

Cabanas hold a certain place in the hearts and minds of European 'heads who grew up with PUMA - many of us were fobbed off with spinoffs, or pared-down lookalikes, but this racing flat, one that rose to cultdom in the early '80s, might have been left at the starting block in terms of contemporary performance, but at the expense of classic trainer design, of which the Cabana is a prime example. Followed by strong sequels that tweaked the low-profile formula a little, this version, with suede, nylon and authentic-looking midsole detailing still works well, at a particularly agreeable pricepoint. The forefoot detailing, stitching and large Formstripe complete an iconic shoe.
