Using a newish Coastal creation with hefty design cues from older models in the shape of the increasingly bike-friendly Ciero mid, CT crew member Mr BJ Betts has been given a wider remit for tinkering than previous projects, and he's done a sterling job. Greys and yellow work well, and this is the most definitve use of Bee's style on an item of footwear to date without degenerating into the messy collision of ink, needle and material where so many tattooist colabs have perished. This is a rare occurrence where an artist and shoe are in perfect harmony - Cieros and Mr Betts get the Crooked seal-of-approval.
