adidas Forum Mid

The adidas Forum, first released in 1984, was the first adidas basketball shoe that was produced in high, mid- and low-top versions. One of adidas' most popular basketball shoes, the Forum is now regarded as one of the most iconic adidas styles ever produced. The Forum was hugely popular at the time of its release due to the high level of detail that adidas ensured was present in the shoe - Dellinger webbing, the Velcro strap, plus the lofty pricetag...all of it sent it into classic status. After an M.I.A. period after it seemed to peak circa 87/88, it became an oft-hunted grail for early '90s diggers. Now it's well and truly back. Whereas before, the environmentally friendly Grun range left us cold, these are very strong indeed - there's natural and recycled materials throughout, but the monotone approach is excellent, with a touch of 3M discretely added to the branding too. Representing for elements, with a bold depiction on the tongue, these are themed after fire.
