Nike Killshot (Vntg) Nd

Nike's approach to retros is never something we can second guess. Until we visited the sales showroom last October, we weren't aware that overwhelming demand for a Killshot retro had meant the brand felt pressured to put one out. Maybe the public demand is a product of our feverish imaginations, but the Killshot is a nice shoe indeed, originally released circa '79 with squash in mind. Whereas a lot of the decade's Swooshed greats seemed to bypass UK shores, with the Germans ruling the sports shop roost round our way, being the "youthful" types we are, we can't remember the original drop on these, but elder friends and associates have gone all misty-eyed and sworn blind that they owned these the first time round. The cup sole, extensive mesh, supported by grey suede panels and slim shape are set off by the classic coloured branding - they're pretty comfy too. Who needs Air?
