The Vengeance hit stores in 1984 as the solution to issues of cushioning and speed, building on existing Nike runners. By 1985 it was joined by the Vector and Venue as the state-of-the-art V Series formed to redefine athletic shoe design. That unique angled eyelet design toward the forefoot stays classic. This vintaged reissue follows on from the last retro (over half a decade ago!) for 2011, and this colourway is a respectful makeup for a pioneering design.
