The Zoom Match Classic has its roots in Nike's early days. Minimal branding in line with court decorum made this unique in its simplicity back in 1973 (when the Nike Wimbledon dropped too) with a pared-down Cortez and Bruin style, and perforated detailing. It made little noise on its debut, but since the Match's reintroduction with added Zoom Air for comfort, it makes significantly more sense.
