This replica of the 1979 performance piece that harks back to a time when the boffins at adidas were making pieces for less obvious sports that still managed to border on design classic status. With a touch of Samba in the upper, and one of the greatest sole units - recently replicated on Dennis Busenitz's pro model, ever made, complete with the four holes tunneling directly beneath the forefoot, we're huge fans of this shoe, and the excellent reissue six or so years ago proved it aged well. Clean, comfortable and a respectable retro.
