A serious meeting of franchises, it's hard to fathom just how much impact adidas and Star Wars had on us growing up. For 2010, they've worked together on a capsule collection with startling attention-to-detail across some popular and slightly more esoteric models. The blister-style packaging brings back happy memories of tearing open Kenner toys to commence minature combat. The Superskate remains an underrated classic. While there have been some calamities from big names in their quest to cash-in on the periodic rises of skating into the mainstream, adidas got in bang-on in terms of looks in the late '70s. Are they any good to skate in? We've never tried 'em out. Do they look good? Hell yeah. That shape is unbeatable.These variations are Stormtrooper-themed, and while Obi-Wan was giving their marksmanship too much credit when he proclaimed that "Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise", these hit the mark better than any of their bumbling laserblasts, capturing their uniform look perfectly - numbers are limited, and this collection seems to have fanboys across-the-board clambering for at least one pair, so act fast.
