Velcro fastening, narrow looks, and a myriad of available makeups mean it’s a classic that should be taken very seriously indeed. Connoisseurs, ironically dressed ‘80s throwbacks and anyone with a clue has a favourite material - canvas, nylon or the later leather variations. Even the OG low-cut version has fans. Just don’t mention the ’06 ‘reimagining’ of a Vandal Low. The shape changed into something akin to an AF1 on its retro a few years back, but these vintage versions bring it back the way it should look. Nice.
