To coincide with DC and SE’s phenomenal resurrection of the mighty PK Ripper this clean and wearable spin on the Gatsby silhouette (as revamped by Methamphibian a few months back) captures the minimal but slick performance styling of the bike itself, mixing suede and canvas with a rugged midsole and tactically placed SB Racing wings. DC continue to up the collaborative ante, and this is no exception. A great shoe on its own, the addition of the interesting 'Joe Kidd On A Stingray' documentary on DVD, plus a slim but informative tome on the history of the BMX ups the appeal, and is indicative of the passion that's emanating from all involved in this project.
